I was made aware of this interesting blog post for animal lovers with some great tips on how to meet like minded individuals. The idea of finding your match made in heaven is the general idea, but it offers a lot of great ideas on volunteering in meaningful ways and putting yourself in environments where you can meet like minded animal lovers.
I’d say this would beat the bar hopping scene by a gigantic margin. Getting out in the environment, having a good time with fresh air and lots of animals sounds great. And you can only profit as a person by volunteering your time in a way to help your fellows, human and animal both. Who knows, you may just come across your soul mate while you’re at it!
