14-year-old Gavin Orlowski was a light in the midst of all the darkness happening in the world, as he rescued a defenseless cat who was thrown out the window, and was only seconds away from being killed. He and his mother saw a gray tiger cat thrown out the window of the van in front of them, and the vehicle sped off. He got out of the car to block traffic, and wrangled the cat away from the edge of the overpass. The cat is now named Lucky and is in the safe hands of Gavin and his mother.
Key Takeaways:
- Gavin Orlowski rescued a rejected cat that was hanging on the edge of the Grand River overpass.
- He and his mom took the cat for an examination at a local-area animal hospital that found him to be in good health.
- The cat, which Orlowski named Lucky, now lives with him, his mom, and Rocko, their dog.
