Lauren Mesaros was thrust into a situation many would not want to even imagine. Wildfires were creeping closer to her home and she was forced to evacuate. Sounds simple enough except for how to move the mini horse she owns with a 2001 Honda Accord. Reluctantly but skillfully she was able to find that the horse would actually fit in the backseat. The horse was confused at first but willing to give it a go and so they did and are safe and sound from the fires as they drove down the mountainside.
Key Takeaways:
- Wildfires are very dangerous and can destroy your home and kill your pets.
- Stardust the mini horse had to get into the back of a small car in order to evacuate a fire.
- Be prepared for a mess if you put a horse in your car. Stardust pooped in the car.
